Sam couldn’t really argue with that. The reasoning seemed sound enough. If you wanted to find something out then research was the obvious answer, and this was still technically some form of research - albeit slightly more practical than Sam’s usual go to.
He gave considerable thought to what John was saying, or at least as much coherent thought as he could muster considering the amount of alcohol he’d consumed in quite a short space of time. “Hold up. I never said it was too much. Just.....it’s not something to be taken lightly.” He explained his hesitation.
Sam drained the contents of his glass once more. “But it would be good to know one way or the other if demons could be pulled here.” He conceded. “That’s something I’d prefer to be prepared for rather than getting caught out.” He frowned a little as he tried to weigh up the proposition, but he was honestly struggling to talk himself out of it. “I’m in.” He said eventually.
