Kai was no man of pity. He was no beggar. He was a god who deserved his followers. Most importantly, he was a good god. He had never meddled or interfered with business that was not his own. If he was angry, there was a reason. If people soothed him, he was kind and giving. Everything was connected. He was part of everything. Nonetheless, Kai could not deny the truth in John's words and Kai was not someone who denied what was true.
