If John's behaviour was unusual for him, Kai did not show. There was a reason he went by a mortal name. While his name had a not so hidden meaning, only few realised this. Slowly losing his power had first enraged him and it made him sad and solemn; however, it had also humbled the deity. He had worked closer with the humans, always on the see and never quite understanding them. But his perspective had slowly shifted and left him not nearly as judging about their lifestyle as it had before.
