He led him away from the park, heading in the direction of the apartments. He knew there were a lot of empty ones. Although the leftover belongings were a somewhat troubling sight. They made him think of the aftermath of some sort of nuclear war without the rubble and radiation. He hoped there was no lethal radiation at least. Of course, with his sodding luck... Either way, he needed to prepare his new found companion for what he might see. So that he didn't think they were just breaking into someones home. Hopefully they wouldn't end up finding someones actual home. At least he had the decency to clearly mark his own home.

This whole place was at one point before it was hit with a disaster. Nothing for you to worry about, Squire. But if the place looks like someone's been living there, good chance they're not there any more" he explained. Arthur had enough things on his mind without worrying if he had wound up in the company of robbers. Granted, John was no saint and he was something of a thief. But in this case, he was fairly innocent.
