The Liverpudlian nodded to Arthur and started to walk with him. John would have asked if he wanted a hand but he figured it might just wound his stubborn pride even more so. It was best to just keep on walking along with him. Make sure he at least had a starting point to go from and then John could leave. He found himself in similar positions fairly frequently, helping people out. As much as he sometimes hated other humans, he had a huge soft spot for them too. He was protective of them. He has risked his life countless times for them and he would probably continue to do the same thing until the last of his days.
That was something John hadn't considered. Everyone Arthur knowing being dead. "Means those prick's who were chasing you are gone though" he added. "And you have now lived long enough to see... well, this" he said gesturing around himself. "You'll get the help you need, mate, believe me. You're going to be fine" he said, cracking a smile as he looked to Arthur. "I'd be interested in hearing any stories you're willing to share about where you come from once you're settled in" he added.
