He brought the cigarette up to his lips and took a quick drag. A smile and a soft chuckle, accompanied by a shake of his head followed Arthur's comment about hallucinating.
"I imagine you've spent some time looking up at the stars" John began. "We're basically up there. But we're really far away from Earth. We're inside this big metal structure. Sort of like a massive metal city, but it sort of just... floats in space" he paused. "I don't understand it on any technical level. It's not my area of expertise. But we're as good as safe here, mate" he paused again to think. Who as going to teach this guy? Show him how he could get himself an apartment, teach him how to use electronic devices? Take him to a doctor... He wasn't even sure who was qualified on board the station. John wasn't sure how much time the other man had.
"As to where you can get your hands on the treatment... I can reach out. See what I can find. In the mean time we can try to get you settled in. Give you some time to get used to your new surroundings. How does that sound?" he asked with a friendly enough smile.
