"It's not alright. Not for you, not yet. It's... a lot, I know," he said, and absently put his hand on Ciaran's shoulder to hopefully reassure him a little. And obviously the contact meant that Dan picked up on the other man's thoughts about smacking his head off of things and... a girl? Shit, awkward... And then the swearing. Ciaran was an interesting priest, it seemed, breaking commandments all over the place.
He put his hand on the panel to call the lift, and waited for the doors to open. "You'll need an apartment - don't worry, there's plenty of empty ones and nobody's going to ask for rent or anything, and you'll get a new phone like this," he explained as he waited, and took his own out of his pocket to demonstrate.
The doors slid open at that point, and Dan waved for Ciaran to go on ahead.
