Obi-Wan understood Maria's plan almost instantly, and wasted no time in passing it on to Dan. The Jedi repeated it a few times - it was not that detailed, after all - and received no reply. Dan was deep within himself, it seemed, and only reacting very slightly to whatever Abra was sending.
While Maria was busy with the tether, Obi-Wan took a slightly different route, and got in touch with Abra. [Please tell Dan that he's now tethered to Maria, and he will be inside soon. Let me know if you get any reaction from him, please,] he sent, before moving round to the other side of Dan. His twin's fingers were clamped tight to the sensor panel he'd found, curling round the edge as best they could. Through the shimmer of the suit, he could see that Dan's fingers were almost white with the effort he was putting into holding on.
"Relax, Dan," he said as he put a hand over Dan's, at the same time as sending it to the other man. A vague memory of his master doing a similar sort of thing to Jar-Jar surfaced in his mind, but Dan was not some weak-minded Gungan who passed out at the first attempt to calm him down. No, Dan's only reactions were for his eyes to open and for his grip to loosen very slightly. Obi-Wan was quick to take advantage of this, using the Force to pry Dan's hands off the panel completely.

Dan's blank staring eyes were just as quick to refocus as he realized that he wasn't holding on to anything anymore, but then Obi-Wan's hands grabbed his properly and Dan was faced with his Twin in some sort of Space suit, and... Maria was on his other side, yeah. Thank fuck, he thought, although possibly a little louder than he intended.
