Neville certainly seemed distracted, a little lost in his own thoughts maybe, but that was hardly surprising. Given the manifestation of thoughts he had seen moments before, he was surprised the stranger seemed relatively sane and normal.
"Yeah, I just... I don't really know how I got here, to be honest. Or where here actually is?" he admitted, with a bit of a nervous laugh as he allowed himself to look around a bit at the landscape. It was a sort of park, and he could see some little greenhouses too. Not anything that he recognised. An allotment of sorts?
"Huh. One of kind," he looked at the dragon curiously. He hadn't seen anything like it so close up before. "I was wondering why it was Ruby for a boy," he admitted, and then it seemed to click. He looked back to Neville and gave him a boyish grin. "What, like for Hagrid?" he asked, because that was the only Rubeus he knew, and he was sure that Neville's thoughts had at least partly been about Hogwarts.
