Neville could tell he wasn't really fooling anyone, but he was alright with that. It was a discussion that could be had at another time, if at all.
When he heard Remus' name though...it all clicked. It was someone he knew, just not from the island. He tried to hide his surprise and just nodded, "It's ...yeah, nice to meet you." He ran a hand through his hair. That made it all so much more complicated. He knew more than he was sure Remus wanted him to. Far beyond just what would happen in their world. He knew what would happen to this man. Knew what already had. He was very glad that Remus either hadn't seen or hadn't recognized his own body being one of the ones Neville helped lay to rest in the Great Hall. His thoughts ran through his head quickly. Everything ranging from being glad he may have a chance to thank Lupin for encouraging him when no one else was to trying to remember all of the ingredients for the wolfsbane potion and wondering if he dare try to brew it. He had to pull himself back from his racing mind, he already had so much to explain. "You just got here?"
"He might be the only one. I'm not sure." Neville admit. He had done a little bit of looking once the others had helped him figure out what world he'd come from, but he hadn't dug too deep. It didn't matter much to him really, there were no others here at least, so it was the same either way. "He's called Rubeus, but mostly I just call him Ruby. He's...not like most dragons to be honest."
