Remus tilted his head slightly; he didn’t entirely believe the stranger, but whether or not he wanted to become therapist or not was another question. Plus, why should this man want to share with someone who had just stumbled upon him anyway. He knew how it was to be selective with the whole truth, after all.

“I’ve never heard of a Nightfury,” he admitted. He could tell the dragon was used to people, so he wasn’t overly concerned. Treat it respectfully, don’t be a fool, and he’d be fine. Then he licked, and Remus pulled a face, and laughed and made an “urgh!” sound. It was gross, but it was funny too. “Yeah, nice to meet you too,” he told the dragon, grinning back and then taking the offered rag. “Thanks.”
