Remus frowned a little at the man’s explanation. A manifested hallucination? It was plausible, but the image had seemed so real, so rich in detail, that he found it hard to believe that it was entirely conceived in his imagination. There was some element of truth to it that was disturbing. “Oh. Are you... okay?” he asked, because if he was imagining that sort of thing then it probably warranted asking.
The dragon sniffed, and Remus flinched ever so slightly. It seemed tame, almost comically so, like a cat or a dog. “That’s okay... I don’t think I’ve ever seen... what kind of dragon is he?” he asked, cautiously lifting a hand to hold out and let the creature sniff if he wanted to.
