Neville slowly felt the calm come back to him. The large, dark body looming over him far more reassuring than he would have thought. He held his breath briefly when he heard the commotion and turmoil start to fade, not just dampened now, but really going. He finally opened his eyes again once the space had gone quiet and let out a sigh of relief. He'd seen about things like this happening but never expected something like this, even though he'd known it wasn't real and there was no danger, it had still taken over him for those few moments.
"Thanks Ruby." he pat the side of the dragon, giving him a bit of a rub as he stood back up. "Extra dinner for you tonight I think." Ruby let out a soft trilling sound and bumped the side of Neville's face with his nose. "I'm alright now." he reassured, reaching out to pet the spines between Ruby's eyes. The dragon took in the attention but only for a moment, lening in to bump Neville's face again and then turning his attention away, obviously trying to get Neville to look that way too.
When he did, Neville spotted someone else there. He swore under his breath and started toward them, jogging a bit, the nightfury following close behind him.
"Sorry!" he called out, once he got a bit closer. He didn't recognize the other man, but there was a sort-of familiarity there at the same time. Maybe it was someone from the station that had been de-aged or swapped genders. "Sorry, that was...a lot. I didn't know anyone else was here or I would have tried to warn you." He offered a hand to whomever was on the ground.
