There's half a thought that Samir should just take Robert's antics for nothing more than what they are- whatever they are or whatever they're borne of. The thing is, because it's all a little bit too familiar, he's perfectly at ease. Even if he's sure he's bound to complain at one point in the future. It all reminds him terribly a lot of Sam- But those are stones he wants to leave unturned for now. Because he's fed, even if it was microwaved mac'n'cheese - and there's plenty of wine, of which he's having glass after glass.
Because it isn't Robert that unsettles him - because he's like a memory, a good one, that only his soul can remember. He believes in the wishy washy concept of reincarnation and soul mates and steadfastly believes that the reason he's just a tiny bit unsettled, is Rufus. His soul remembers him, too. And there's nothing more that he'd rather do, than to wrap the man in a big ol' hug.
"Yes," he finally replies - looking up at Robert, holding a bottle of wine. A refill? Always.
