Jessica heard him, but didn't really notice it, she was too distracted by the other voice in her head. She had her eyes closed and her fists balled over her ears but she still heard it, still saw him.
Did you really think you'd be rid of me that easily Jessica? I'm disappointed.
"Birch Street." she mumbled, trying to force him away. "Higgins Drive." But her mid was foggy, the world a little bit too wobbly. She didn't have enough control. She staggered forward, back toward Dan, though it wasn't him she saw. It was Kilgrave. He looked smug. She wanted to hit him again. She stumbled and knocked over her cup, spilling it on the floor and her boots and the bottom of her jeans.

"No." She shouted again, her fists balling and then loosening again. "I killed you." she mumbled, reaching out, picking him up and throwing him in the opposite direction, back toward the front of the store. She heard glass break, things crash and the world spun but she followed anyway. He couldn't win.
