Initially, Edward looked only to Henry, trying to find any trace of a lie in what he was saying. But then, he supposed the man would hardly be bold enough to hand him a mirror at the same time if he wasn't telling him the truth.
Still, there was reluctance there, but after a moment he took the small mirror from his doctor. He took a breath and then looked.
"Oh..." he made a soft sound, and then took a moment to look properly. "I'm much less of a freak than I was imagining," he admitted with a small chuckle. He was certainly recognisable, not too different from his old self at all.
