It really was quite adorable to hear how she spoke about her fiance, and he was struck for a moment by how wonderful it was that everyone on the station seemed to be free to marry purely for love and nothing else. He smiled, and happily let her talk away as much as she pleased. He was truly pleased for her. "Yes, I quite understand. But as it is, it both symbolises something beautiful, and it looks beautiful, so you're winning on two fronts there."
When she first started asking for help, Darcy was giving her a little nod before he'd even heard everything she had to say. "Yes, of course, whatever you need..." he started before she changed direction. It took him by surprise, although he wasn't sure why. Miguel was certainly his dearest friend on the station, he supposed he'd just ever considered that he might feel the same way. "Oh..." he sounded out first, just giving his head time to wrap around it. "Well, yes, I should be delighted, of course," he said with a proper smile now. It was clear in his expression that he really was 'delighted'.
