"Sounds great," Darcy agreed, because trying to hit an unarmed man just felt silly if he wasn't moving much.
Oh, but now he was moving. Darcy even took a moment to be pretty impressed by his friend's acrobatic skills. He'd seen a little of it at Pemberley, but he'd had so many questions at that point that he'd barely had the headspace to just appreciate it for what it was.
"I certainly can," he agreed, surprised to find that he was grinning happily. He actually felt quite gleeful. Once he was used to the speed and motion of it, he joined in - not in leaping through the air like a gymnast, but in trying to make contact with his sword. It was a much more impressive workout than the plastic torso, and it kept his brain engaged much more effectively. He needed the brain distraction as much as he did the physical, although he was putting in a decent amount of physical effort into it now as well.
