He nodded when she gave him her name, and made brief eye-contact with her as she glanced up.
"I don't sleep very well," he admitted, carefully and slowly balling his left hand into a fist for a few seconds before uncurling the fingers again. It hadn't been a very tight fist, and his grip still wasn't the best, but it was a lot better than he'd been able to do a few days ago. The heat from the coffee was helping as well. "And the cold is making all my aches and pains even worse, so once I wake up, that's me for the night." He drank some more coffee, and wondered if microwaving his mug might help. "What about yourself?"
