Charlie still didn't push. He kept his eyes on the lake, though he wasn't really paying attention to his line. He nodded at the question and smiled a little.
"I know. It was pretty obvious when you'd talk about her." He did notice the past tense but didn't being it up. The woman on the station wasn't his mom, as far as he was concerned.
