Loki watched as the sheep ran. He had been chased many times but he had never been an open beast, always covert. Sheep or mortals, he did not mind. Shannon's size was imposing; his own not so much. But he had learned to fly by shedding his own weight.
"The animals certainly think so." His voice echoed in her mind. It was a mere illusion. A second later he shot downwards and landed on the grass with a swoop. He hissed at the lowly creatures around them as laughter echoed in Shannon's mind.
