"Then she's a very special lady, I dare say," Bingley nodded, genuinely pleased to see his friend so content. Darcy felt himself blushing, and even smiling a little as they spoke about his fiancee. He really was the luckiest man.
"Yes, she's very good for me. She's perfect for me," Darcy admitted softly. "You deserve as much happiness, and I just know it has to be Jane," he insisted.
It was Bingley's turn to go red. "Well, yes, yes, of course I do," he said, looking between the two schemers. "But I haven't the faintest idea what to do, or say... and what if she doesn't want me to?"
