Who? Rawdon & Shepard Where? Medbay When? This morning What? The station can be very cruel. Open? Sure, to Dr Morgan or other visitors/subthreads if you like. Rating? Low, I think - but talk of death / sickness.
The events of the previous evening were a complete haze. In fact, the events of the past couple of weeks were fast becoming a confusing blur. It was as if his mind couldn't latch on and decide which version of events was reality. Part of him knew that of course he was still on that damned island, that no one was coming for him.
But when he'd reached out and found the phone it had felt very real. That apartment was just as he seemed to remember, and why he was thinking of Dr Morgan years later... it was odd, but then logic had left the building a long time ago. He was sure that someone had carried him like a baby, someone had been concerned for him, someone had been quite upset. Definitely delirium. There wasn't anyone who would be upset for him, not now.
There were strange noises, strange smells. The only thing that was definitely real was the intense pain in his abdomen. It was constant now, and no amount of shuffling about made it pass anymore.
What was the beeping? Slow and regular and very out of place in the nineteenth century.
He blinked awake properly and looked down at what was scratching his arm. There were very strange and modern devices hooked up to him. "What....?"
