Eggsy's teasing aside, Roxy was strangely quiet and calm as she await Leif's arrival home. Home? It sounded like he still lived here. Did she? Did they together? Were those children he mentioned theirs? Or was she not part of the picture? Somehow she started to assume she had disappeared off of the Station, from the Island, and he had moved on. Why he wouldn't leave the apartment and go to another was a bit curious but she did not question it. Instead, as she found herself standing still and frozen in the open doorway to their home she mulled over a life without him. Going back home. Forgetting this place entirely.
It was an incredibly depressing notion. Once upon a time she had hoped and prayed to go back to her own Earth and her own place in time. Back to normal.
This was normal, now. This was her life. So she felt fairly sickened at the idea of just disappearing in a snap and never remembering a second of it. Worse, she felt sick at the idea of leaving Leif.
Roxy folded her hands behind her back as she await, standing about three feet inside the wide open front door, feet separated into a relaxed 'at ease' position. She fell into it out of habit and perhaps betraying the concern brewing behind her otherwise unreadable face. He wanted to tell her in person that they were not together and the children weren't hers. He said 'I love you' to keep the peace. This was heartbreak thirty years in the making.
