"Hey, yourself," he said, and actually considered offering his hand to her for a moment before he realized that she made the air feel weird and his brain twitch a little. He decided against the hand-shake and hoped she didn't think he was being rude, but he had no desire to pick up on any memories his touch might reveal.
"So, you see them too?" he asked, and gestured over to the ghost in the corner of the room that appeared to be stuck there. It was the same sort of being as the one that wandered from the living room in his dad's place into his dad's bedroom over and over, one with long tattooed tentacles instead of hair, purple skin and huge dark eyes. Not to mention the slight transparency that let him see right through them. Neither of them seemed to notice anything going on around them, which suited Dan just fine.
