He watched as Dan seemed to get even more steady after he lit the cigarette. Knew quitting both smoking and drinking had probably cost his son a whole lot. He wondered briefly if he'd had to go into the hospital. But didn't voice it, basically because this Danny wouldn't know. He hadn't reached that page yet.
"There are little flat buttons at the top, or on the edge somewhere, and then you just trail your finger over the screen. I think you just have to swipe a finger across to unlock it." He didn't really remember now. It wasn't as if he reread his own work, not unless there was a part two that was demanded to be written. "Whenever you want. Something just told me you might want to. There is no rush." He didn't have to have it back anyway.
