It took him a few minutes to hunt down the self-proclaimed Starlord. A ridiculous name but one suitable for the fool he was. The Norse God remembered the cold fury when he had come across Quill's act of stupidity. Such a hot-headed clodpole! But his distaste did not show, when he finally appeared next to him. It was a simple step out of the wall. To his annoyance, the man reached his own height and the man's muscles almost rivalled those of his brother. Almost. At least, he had a superior fashion sense. The man's rags were nothing compared to his impeccable black suit.

"Peter Quill, the man who brought doom to the universe," he purred, arms folded behind his back. A smirk had settled on his face and a hawkish gaze settled upon the man. "Tell me, are you proud of your achievements?"

Peter mashed his lips together and gave the guy an offhanded wave of his hand. "What do you know about it?"

He was aware of the damage he'd caused. Thanos was nearly defeated, but his anger and frustration got the best of him. But of course it did! The bastard had killed Gamora!

Peter wished he hadn't done what he did, but it was done, and he couldn't take it back. And he knew given the same situation all over again, he'd do the same thing. Because Gamora was what mattered to him.

	Loki scrutinised that handwave with a single glance. "Everything," he said with a smile. It could almost be called friendly if one did not know the man. And it was true. A few details were missing... the books had the pesky habit of glossing over important parts and focusing on dull details. He had never wanted to know this much about Thanos' breakfast habits. "Look. It's not my proudest moment. And yet..." Peter shrugged. He had his regrets, sure he wished things had gone differently. But he'd been distraught. He'd just found out...well, he had reacted out of a place of raw grief and despair. He wouldn't apologise for that.

"It happened, all right? It's over and done and I can't take it back. I can't change the outcome." That was about as close as Peter would get to admitting he'd made a mistake.

"Ah, now that is something we can agree on. It was certainly not anything to be proud of," Loki said with a smirk. Though he wondered how many proud moments there were in the clown's life. "But you may find that the course of history could indeed be changed... or might already be changed for some." While the first part of the speech was directed at the air in front of the pair, he now shifted his eyes abruptly back to Quill. "She is not yours and I would suggest you remember that."

	Peter looked the guy over. "You sound like a lunatic, you know that?" Peter had a habit of talking down to people he should be more careful around. Whoops. "And what are you talking about? Who's she?" Peter could be a little dense, or at least he played the part well when necessary, but he had very little to go on here. Unless he was talking about Gamora. 	A warning glance was all Peter got. One that said not to provoke him. "You know very well who I am referring to." If he had not known before, he would know now. Unless he underestimated Quill's lack of intellect which Loki deemed near impossible. (Reply to this) (Parent)
