"Not if he's got him in a lock-box. I had him in my head for thirty years or so and I'm fine now. Besides, what I've done back home won't affect Danny. I'm... I'm not him," Dan explained, and then let his dad flail at the elevator doors.
"Watch," he said with a smile, and put his hand on a panel beside the door. The elevator hadn't left since he'd been in it before, so the door opened straight away. Dan waited for his dad to go in first, and then used the panel inside to swipe through and find the symbol for the food court. "You'll learn the symbols pretty quickly. I took pictures of the right ones, though. I'll send them to you once we get sitting down," he said as the doors slid shut and they went back up to the food court.
