He sipped his own coffee at the same time Steve did. “Yeah, that and there are a few things that we could get for the pastries. And maybe some of those fancy blenders for cold drinks.”
Bucky smiled. He hadn’t really noticed it happening but he really had gotten pretty excited about the idea while he’d been working on everything. He gave Steve’s hand a light squeeze, “Good cause uh, this isn’t everything.” he grinned again and stood back up. He went to the space behind them with the tarp draped up over it and tugged at a rope on one side. The knots holding everything up came undone and revealed the little storefront. It wasn’t a whole lot, just a little sitting area behind big glass windows with a counter down one side. At the end of the counter there was a doorway that led to a well-sized kitchen. Nothing was really furnished yet, but there was a display case on one end of the counter that had been the reason he chose this spot in the first place, as well as a few simple appliances he’d been able to find around, and then there was a cash register he had nabbed out of one of the stores on the counter,. They obviously wouldn’t need the cash part of it but he thought it would be good for keeping track of orders. Everything was impeccably clean though, looking shiny and new and empty, ready for them to do whatever they wanted.
