Darcy nodded along with him mutely, the shock starting to pass as he kept talking to him. Perfectly fine. It felt impossible to think of the words 'perfectly fine' in the same sentence as 'influenza', but he had no reason at all to doubt Dr Morgan.
"Thank you. We will," he agreed, only just remembering to give him a bow of thanks as he left. It was apparently quite easy to forget one's manners when on the station for long enough.
Once he had gone, Darcy took a moment to read over his instructions again, and then he started to think about when he had been unwell after the vaccines, and how Ashley had looked after him. It would be okay.
He got two bowls. One he left empty, the other he filled with cold water, and he picked up a couple of clean cloths.
He headed back through to her. He placed the empty bowl to the side, easy to grab if she ended up wanting to be sick. He prepared a cold compress using the other bowl, gently placing the damp cloth against her forehead.
