Who? Mr Darcy & Miss Sully Where? Ashley's library When? Friday afternoon What? Important questions. Rating? TBD Open? Not really.
Darcy had been contemplating his options since Ashley had told him that her mother and the little ones were moving onto the Normandy. He knew that she had her aunt and her cousin around her, and that she would be absolutely fine to stay with them for the time being. They really shouldn't live together until the marriage was official, but at the same time... there was plenty that shouldn't have happened until then that already had.
Still, it was a lot. It was a complete subversion of his long held beliefs regarding moral conduct, and he felt it was important to check in with himself and with God. He'd attended Desmond's group on the Sunday and said nothing, but after the new information was added on top of everything else, he'd returned on the Wednesday evening and begged for a moment of the former monk's time. It had been a very helpful and productive conversation.
He'd finished reading Sense and Sensibility on Thursday, and so it offered him the perfect reason to drop in on Ashley's library an see if she was there. He did find it a little funny, that after everything, he thought he actually needed some sort of excuse to see her. He knocked on the door, and hoped that she was around.
