"Not a talker? That's okay." Margaret couldn't help but wonder if the girl choose not talk, didn't speak the same language or couldn't talk at all. Maybe she couldn't even hear what was being said. From the girl's reaction, she did know the girl could see.
She pulled her phone out of her pocket and looked through some of the pictures until she found the right one. A picture from her time, where she'd been coaching a children's gym class on the island. In the photo, Margaret was surrounded by happy, playing children. She held the phone out slowly to let her see the picture. "Those are some of my friends. From my home. They're about your age."
