Commander Elyssa Shepard ([info]commander_shep) wrote in [info]spinningcompass,
"I find myself still questioning if this isn't some very vivid dream." One that she was having on her dying breath, but she doubted the kids had told him that much about her. And there was no need to alarm him, or bring it up.

Shepard nodded and lifted her glass to him. "You and me both. The rest seems like the people are trying to get your approval regardless of their personality. So they can say well, so and so likes me." The curse of having a well known name. "I find it hard to turn of the arrogance when I'm angry."

She cleared her throat and gave a little wave of her hand. "No no, I apologize. I didn't know how to explain JARVIS to you. He is an unrestricted artificial intelligence program. He helps me run a ship that normally would take more than one hundred people to operate. I didn't expect him to test you by being visible though." She supposed she was lucky EDI's body wasn't available on the ship otherwise they would be greeted by a male voice in a female shaped body. She gave the hologram a slight glare.
