Darcy smiled a little wider when she gave TK his more formal introduction. He had been wondering what sort of a name Teekay was, and felt a little silly to realise she had simply been saying initials.
“Of your mothers?” Darcy repeated, a little confused. Surely he meant his father...
“Oh, you are most welcome, I’m very pleased to have you both,” he told him sincerely. A handshake, for Darcy, was reserved really for business deals, but in his short time on the island he’d come to understand it as the chosen form of respectful greeting, and so he did give his hand a shake when it was offered. “Please, come in and make yourselves comfortable,” he told them, closing the door behind them and gesturing to the main living area.
