When she asked if it was strange, Darcy felt like he’d let out a breath he hadn’t known he was holding. He’d been trying so hard to just focus on the familiar and the parts he could control that he’d been pretending he didn’t have a thousand questions about the future and space already. Plus, his head hurt - he understood why perhaps Dr O’Hara had taken to wearing dark glasses of everywhere in the future was so brightly lit.
