Miguel nodded as Darcy talked about accents, slightly surprised that the man didn't know an American accent. "My accent is American. Nueva York, specifically. Ashley's grown up here, so I would guess she's grown up around a mostly-American crowd of people."
The different areas of England were confusing, but only because he didn't know where they were in England. "I worked out that you're English," he said, "but I've never been to England, so I don't know where Derbyshire or Hertfordshire are, I'm afraid." He'd ask Lyla later.
"Look, I'm sure you have a lot of questions, but I need to get a drink," Miguel said, thinking of maybe something like a scotch or a whiskey although he'd settle for coffee, "and you need to get dry. Are you hungry at all?"
