"Oh, aye, definitely. It was just kind of... strange, but I suppose we ought to accept strange well enough by now," he shrugged. He didn't like it when things were left unexplained, but he knew that he had to trust that all was well. "We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when..." he said in a sing song.
"Pretend honeymoon? Are congratulations in order?" he asked of her. He'd thought boyfriend, although maybe she had mentioned a wedding and he had forgotten it. The headaches were making it difficult to retain everything. "Looks like you managed it. I suppose the fortunate thing is that customs were a lot more lax in the 40s, eh?"
"We are fortunate that way. We get to experience all of these different places and times and cultures."
