Cooking was how Isabel dealt with a lot of things. What she was feeling would determine what she cooked. If she was in a good mood she'd do a lot of baking. Unless she was sad and then there was a lot of chocolate involved in that baking. If she was angry, her cooking involved a lot of chopping or tenderizing and then, of course, her kitchen would be the cleanest it had ever been. Cleaning really helped her deal with being mad. She wasn't quite sure what she was feeling at the moment, though. She'd lost count of how much time she spent in the kitchen. Much more since arriving on the station than she had when they were on the island. She'd think about why that was later. For now she was just organizing all of her cabinets. Getting an inventory of what she had and what she'd need for in the future. She had to make sure that she had everything she needed to make different types of cake so Katherine could choose exactly what she wanted for her wedding day. Making the cake samples was going to be so much fun. She hummed softly as she worked, occasionally going out to make sure there wasn't someone that needed something. She didn't want to risk neglecting someone just because she got lost in her task. |
