Bruce knew he wasn't making sense but nothing made sense. He was different to the Bruce she knew and that scared the shit out of him. Everything was terrifying now, the thought that it could all end so quickly, the fact he was running from Thanos and what had happened. But his son, his baby boy, had his arms wrapped around Bruce's neck so tight that none of it mattered anymore. Bruce lifted Jacob from Darcy's arms and held him tighter than he ever had anything before, tears in his eyes.

"My boy, my boy..." he said, one hand clutching Jacob's head to his chest as if he was scared he would fall into dust in his arms. "I missed you, Daddy missed you so much, kiddo..." he said, choking up. "I love you."
