Who: Shannon and Loki
Where: Cuban wilderness
What: Powers activate
When: Monday is a day for burning things
Rating: TBD
Open: no
Status: On going

Shannon placed the backpack, full of important things-Water, and plenty of it, sunscreen, a change of clothes- on the ground at the base if a large and beautiful banyon tree. She had the hopes that she wouldn't accidentally set the bag on fire. The positive thoughts would save it.

Shannon had outfitted herself in a pair of well fitted shorts, a top that clung to her like a sports bra would, but it was longer, and a pair of nondescript athletic shoes, all in different shades of green that complemented each other. It was too hot for black. She was ready to conquer the raging powers that had built up inside her. But she wasn't sure now to purposely go about doing that. So she stretched her whole body. Bending forward to touch her toes, squatting, a few lunges.

She knew Loki wasn't impressed with any of them. But she didn't skimp out, she was still mortal, and didn't have any intention to hurt herself because she hadn't been ready. And when her body quit protesting at the straining movements she turned and gave him a bright smile. "Thank you for being patient."
