"I had not, they started throwing things at Lucy. And... That was a pot." She pointed to the lump of metal. But she felt safe enough with him there between them and the ghosts that her fire cocoon flickered and slowly died out. Or maybe she had run out of the ability to keep it up. Shannon had no idea.
"But I did tell them to go away and leave us alone." She confessed. But was that enough to provoke the ghosts? She didn't know. Shannon kept her arms around their granddaughter, but shifted so that Lucy would be guarded by them both. Shannon at her back, and Loki at her front.
"Did you say or do anything?" She asked the younger woman.
