Bobby was having a fairly relaxed morning. He had a sketchpad and some pencils, and he was busying himself with doing some botanical studies. There was such unusual flora in the area, he found it an interesting challenge to himself. It was one thing drawing a daisy - you drew a daisy, and you brought all of your previous knowledge and understanding and memory of a daisy into the drawing. But when you had no context, you had to draw on only what you could see today.
He finished one sketch and gently blew the graphite dust from the page before looking up to see what he might sketch next. And there she was - his dear friend Rachel Sully. He was grinning right away, and perhaps foolishly he didn't even consider the possibility that she wouldn't be the same Rachel or that she wouldn't know him.
He closed the pad over, and practically danced over to her, stupid smile on his face. "Well, well, well... hello, stranger."
