She should have known he would be faster than her, even without his abilities. She guessed that she thought he would have just stood there longer or something, after she'd run out on him. She hadn't even known where she was going, but she didn't want him to see her like that. She never wanted him to see her like that. She was headed for the elevator, but she should have known she'd never make it.
