She just had to tell him, get it out there...as she had with the Peter that was from the past. It wasn't easy for her not to know what that decision had actually done. She'd jumped and then she was here. She had no idea how the world had reacted. She sighed a bit, hoping she'd be able to explain this in a way that wouldn't make him hate her again. "At the carnival I told you about..." She started, clearly nervous about telling him this. "I climbed to the top of the ferris wheel and jumped. With news cameras watching." She hadn't meant any harm, but it wasn't right for people to have to hide who they were. She'd wanted to change things.
"And...I don't know what happened, because right after that I was here." She'd never been able to figure that out. People said it was just the island. And that in itself was insane. Everything here was insane, even compared to what she was, knew, and had been through. And she missed her dad. He would have known what to do. But she had Peter here, two Peters...if this one didn't hate her for it. It was hard not to know if she had made the right choice or not when she had jumped.
