Since leaving the circus, Amos had spent much of his time wandering the parks and countryside. Reconnecting with nature, he supposed, but he barely knew how to identify any of the flora and fauna yet. I supposed a lot of that was lost knowledge now. What did it matter? A daisy was just a flower like any other.
If nothing else, his move to outdoor living seemed to have saved him when the war inevitably came. He'd watched the bombers fly across his chest and he'd been moving further from the cities before the sun rose again.
Whether he could trust this woman on the radio... he'd have to find out. She sounded different, she sounded like someone who might actually be helpful. He could only hope. Too late to change his mind now, he could hear someone - Princess Luna - calling his name.
"Yes. Hello! Hello, I'm here!" he returned her call, turning about to try to catch sight of her.
