Kay-tu sat quietly and listened to her. She was the same as anyone else when presented with the question. Save them all, all six. Find a way. Do what they could. Try to out think a scenario. Try to be faster than time. Good? Bad? What did that matter? How were you to know?
"It is impossible to save all six. You can only save one side of the tracks or the other. If you pull the lever to save five, and try to save the sixth, you would also die. You cannot pull the brakes. You cannot get on the train. You do not have time to block the tracks. You cannot derail it without severe damage and possibly all lives lost. It is this...or that..."
He wrote on his tablet. "Why do you believe you could save the sixth after saving five? Is five not enough? You even said you would choose five because it is less to die. Why strain for the sixth?"
