Sunila couldn't stop smiling, tears of joy shinning in her eyes. Jake's words were the most romantic she'd ever heard and so very true. It took a moment for her mother's words to sink it. "Right! The rings!"
She turned and retrieved them from a special spot on the front of the stroller, out of reach of any baby hands that might have tried to eat them. She couldn't resist giving each of the babies a kiss on the forehead. It could tide her over until she could kiss Jake. She then straightened up, handing her ring to Jake and holding onto Jake's ring carefully until she could put it on her finger.
