Miguel was as used to small children as he was to pets, i.e. not at all. So when he was invited to go to the Tide Pool along with the rest of Sarah's family, he was a bit apprehensive to say the least. Still, Henry liked him, and Harri wasn't actively trying to kill him or anything, so that was a bonus. He'd decided that the best way to talk to both pets and children was to assume they were adults and simply talk to them. It meant that he'd had a couple of very one-sided discussions with Henry, and that Harri had declared him Silly after less than five minutes. Fair enough, really. He could only hope that the rest of his interactions with Sarah's younger family members would go so well.
He'd found a pair of shorts in his clothes from home, and changed into them, along with a tee-shirt. Once he'd arrived at the general area of the Tide Pool, he left his tee-shirt with a bag of clean clothes and a towel, and kept an eye out for Sarah and the kids.
