"Yeah, Grandpa. I'm here." The younger Izzy called out as she made her way down a hallway. "I was just about to put on a pot of hot jawla? Jawala? You now, the stuff that's like coffee." She smiled as she got closer to what she thought was the older Tom Sully.
"I got fresh beans from Dr. Tautau as a thanks for the meds run. Not that we needed it. Helping them out was thanks enough. It felt awesome to have such a clearly good mission." Not all their jobs were so black and white as that one had been. Her hair shifted colours briefly to a black and white zebra pattern at the thought, and then back to the purple she used these days. There was no need for her to be touching technology for her magic to work now, as long as was around technology. Often it happened automatically, almost like breathing.
"Do you want a cup when I get it made?" She asked. "It's good and strong. Just as shame we don't have one of Great Aunt Sookie's pies to go with it."
