The request for a date had come as a bit of a shock to Roxy and she zoomed around the apartment in a fluster. When was the last time she had been on a real, actual date? Not a mission to a bar where she had an objective. Not being some third-wheel assistant to Eggsy's love life. Her own, personal, proper date.
She honestly couldn't recall.
So she flit around her room to find something to wear. A suit just didn't feel appropriate for a picnic date. Something casual but cute...that would be nice. But what? Which outfit? It wasn't as if she had a lot. In the end she decided on a simple white t-shirt style blouse and tucked it into a pretty metallic blue threaded skirt and completed the look with some basic cerulean blue flats. A comb moved through her hair to remove any knots or scraggly ends and she put in a little decorative clip at the side to be less bland. She wasn't fancy or over the top but, like Leif, she was nicely dressed. No jewelry or flash. She tucked her special specs into her black purse with her phone and took a last look at herself in the bathroom mirror at 12:20. Her mascara and tinted lipgloss seemed fine. Anything else would be too much.
So at the knock she appeared only a moment later, having been waiting patiently in the living area debating whether she should text Eggsy, Tilda, and Miguel--her small but faithful friends--her news. No. Tell them after. She didn't want her phone to be ringing with replies or questions when she wanted to focus on actually meeting and getting to know the incredibly tall blond that now stood at her door.
Roxy smiled warmly at him as the doorway slid open to the side. "Hi," she greet, feeling a little as if she were standing up on tip-toes despite ensuring her heels were flat to the ground.
